CAMPOSOL is one of the largest Hass avocado producers and exporters in the world and South America with more than 20,000 hectares mostly own along its desert like coastline. Its main export destinations include the European Union, the United States of America and Asia.

 

Products

 

Avocado oils are mainly monounsaturated fats that lower bad cholesterol (LDL), but also maintains the good one (HDL). Avocado is a strategic crop for CAMPOSOL; we have invested significant resources for increasing the fields sown with it in order to become an important stakeholder in the world avocado markets.

 

Recipes

 

Avocados may be added to salads and all kinds of recipes or can simply be eaten directly from their skin with a spoon. They have a rich and creamy texture that mixes really well with other ingredients.

 

Hass-meter

 

We generally purchase Hass Avocados in a state of ripening ready to be eaten that same day or within two more days. To prevent over-ripening, we recommend to refrigerate the avocado. If you want to speed up the avocado ripening process, do not leave it in the refrigerator; put it preferably in a container near fruits like bananas or apples, as they release ethylene that allows to active the avocado ripening and keeps it in good condition.

Generally the ripe avocado has a darker color (blackish purple) and is much softer to the touch. This is not the case for the pre-ripe avocado, which has a light green color and a characteristic hardness.
